This is a pretty quick colored pencil piece that I've worked on the past couple of days. It is from this old sketch: [link]

The sketch was done about a year and a half ago and I know it has some problems (such as her hands are too small) but I didn't feel like correcting them. I just felt like coloring something and I already had this drawn. And I left the background out too. I just wanted to do something simple. :)

This is my character, Alantia. And to copy and paste from the sketch... Alantia, a young, beautiful and kind fae who doomed herself into unhappiness by falling in love with Jahyel. She gave him her heart, her everything, and it was not enough. Not even a child could make him love her. Jahyel's only love is his hate.

Colored pencil on blue cardstock. The original is 9 x 12" but this is slightly cropped. Definately FULL View!!

This is lovely!
Her wings are gorgeous & the blue tones are gorgeous!
You don't often see pregnancy depicted so beautifully so kudo's for that alone!
A really gorgeous artwork!!!

I love this! :love: The anatomy is wonderful, and you are so good with colored pencils :D And I did not notice the smallish hands until you mentioned it ;) They look fine. Hands are so difficult anyhow.
