Ever since I painted Fairy of the Dark Forest, I wanted to do that leafy border in Autumn colors. :D I remembered two things while working on this, 1.) how much I missed using cold press watercolor paper, and 2.) how long it takes to paint that leafy border. :faint:

Watercolor, colored pencil, and white acrylic.

The leaves may require long time for you to paint but it rewards nicely :) They're so beautiful and well detailed. The texture on the skin looks nice too. However, this is just my opinion but I think the lips are too outstanding from the rest of the face for some reason. I guess you use different type of color from the skin so I feel the dimensions of the face and the lips aren't really matched, maybe it's just me.
