I did this with the idea of doing a larger, similar painting to "Gothic Lament," since I like that one so much and it's only 4 x 6". The title was once again inspired by an Opeth song. You can probably tell they're one of my favorite bands. ;)

Gorgeous work in the wings, hair and dress. The soft misty background really really add to the piece's atmosphere. And the rose - very symbolic and I think completes and adds to the message of this piece - well done :clap:
